Asia
We made our way to Asia in January 2025, and as of 2026, we’re still here! Gradually exploring a continent that feels both enormous and inviting, and it’s been quite the experience. Just when everything starts to feel familiar and comfortable, a border crossing pops up, the language, the currency, the landscapes, and well… just about everything else changes!
“Asia helps the world feel beautifully alive”
Since that first start in Thailand, we’ve wandered through Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan. Some places have been all energy and street noise, others have been calm and ordered, and I really think that contrast is exactly what makes travelling here so addictive.
More recently, the we’ve travelled through India, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Oman, and Nepal, each adding a completely new element to the trip. There are weeks that zoom by in a whirlwind of colours, while others seem to stretch on forever with the help of a salty sea breeze or vast mountain view. Asia has this rare ability to give you intensity and ease in the same season, sometimes in the same week.
This page is my little collection of our travel guides for Asia, where I’m sharing all the places we’ve fallen in love with, the routes that worked wonders for us, and the handy tips that make slow travel feel effortless. If you’re gearing up for your own adventure, think of this as your launchpad – just follow along from country to country. I have a feeling Asia will do the same for you as it did for us: draw you in, broaden your horizons, and make you want to linger a bit longer than you originally planned.
