Welcome to Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons in English), nestled in the heart of Wales, an enchanting area where rolling hills and rugged landscapes meet - with a few friendly horses to be found along the way ✨

If you’re looking to explore the area, Pen y Fan is definitely the most popular choice as the highest mountain in South wales.

I’d recommend completing the full horseshoe loop as you’ll be able to tick off a few peaks and it’ll be much quieter in general 🌿

1. The architect John Wood was inspired by the Druids and was convinced that Bath would’ve been the centre of Druid activity in Britain, so the circus was built to be the exact same diameter as Stonehenge

2. The Circus and the Royal Crescent together form the sun and the moon ☀️🌙

3. When viewed from the air, the Circus, along with Queen Square and adjoining Gay Street, form a key shape, which is a masonic symbol similar to those that adorn many of Wood's buildings 🔑
