Greece was actually our first stop on this whole full-time travel adventure back in 2023, so it’s a country that will forever hold a special place in my heart. We boarded a late ferry to Paros from Athens, and woke up to a whitewashed village glowing in October light with almost no one in it! We were there for a whole month, and Greece is a place we keep coming back to (also for the delicious food.. and all the cute cats!).

We’ve now spent a fair bit of time across the mainland and the islands, including spots like Athens, Paros, Rhodes, Delphi and Meteora, mostly travelling in the shoulder season when the crowds start to disappear, and Greece starts to feel like a place people actually live in.
